WAS(WallAccess Systems) Ltd was set up in year 2002 in Cyprus. The company''s original idea was to proceed with the Industrial production of access panels for visiting drywall ceilings and walls and then include in their scope the designing And manufacture of products for special sound absorbent and fire-resistant applications. The first reliable product entirely designed and developed by WAS in Cyprus was the aluminum access panel for visiting Drywall roofs and walls. That successful product, gave impetus for extending activities in the conventional building sector By making access panels suitable for both interior and exterior brick walls. Today WAS covers the needs of the Cyprus market substituting similar imported products. From the very beginning, however, WAS products were attracted by our customers in the European Union and the Middle- East as well. Important project references from abroad, like the Royal palace of Jordan, are a good commendation for WAS products and are mentioned as a landmark in the start of the business. The materials used in the manufacture of the access panels, are extruded aluminum, galvanized steel and gypsum board. Each panel has at the back- side two concealed mechanisms for withholding the removable panel door.
